Abstract
At present, status of finespotted flounder Pleuronichthys cornutus stock in Suõ-Nada of Seto Inland Sea is considered to be on the decrease in comparison with the past. In this study, we reexamined for biological characteristics on stock assessment. We investigated the stock management scheme for this stock. As the results, present status of the flounder is overfishing. In conclusion, catch of yearling should be prohibited in small trawl fisheries in near future.
