Abstract
Wandering fifth-instar larvae of 3 strains of almond moth were bioassayed for sensitivity to contact insecticides by topical application methods. The strains showed similar sensitivity patterns to insecticides tested. Synthetic pyrethroids and methomyl were the most toxic, followed by organophosphates such as chlorpyrifos, chlorpyrifos-methyl, dichlorvos, Naled etc. Organochlorines, DDT, endrin and dieldrin exhibited no insecticidal activity.
