Abstract

There are many ethnic minorities living in the border areas between China and Laos. The cultural traditions and languages of each ethnic group are not only an important component of the diverse culture of the border areas, but also an important component of the diverse culture of the Chinese nation. Minority college students in the border areas of China and Laos are an important force for the future development of border society, and are the key to consolidating ethnic communities and enhancing national cohesion, Strengthening and strengthening the community awareness of ethnic minority college students is a necessary requirement for maintaining social stability, national unity, and ethnic unity along the China Laos border. This article takes the minority college students in Shanggang Village, who were surveyed by the author in the field, as an example. Universities, villages, and local governments are the three main bodies that strengthen the awareness of the Chinese ethnic community among minority college students on the China Laos border. They play an important and irreplaceable role in building the awareness of the Chinese ethnic community among minority college students on the China Laos border.
