Abstract
2000年1月に発行された脳腫瘍全国集計調査報告第10巻よりグリオーマの治療成績を検討した.近年の脳腫瘍発生頻度の動向としてグリオーマが減少し,髄膜腫や神経鞘腫の頻度が高くなる傾向がある.グリオーマの予後を規定する因子として組織診断,手術摘出率,術前のperformance status,年齢などがあげられているが,本統計においても,手術摘出率が高い症例,臨床悪性度の低い症例,70歳未満の症例で予後が有意に良好であった.悪性グリオーマに対し放射線治療は有効であるが,星細胞腫では必ずしも有効といえず,さらに検討を要するものと考えられる.
