Abstract

This paper takes two works in the 15th “Oriental Era” Modern Music Exchange Season between Korea and China, Trio by Park Jun-young of South Korea and Light & Dark by Hao Yukai of China, as research objects. It analyzes and discusses the similarities and differences between Korean and Chinese modern composers in terms of musical language and creative style,especially the developing skills of core materials, through the comparison of composing techniques, and shows the cultural and ideological characteristics of composers of the two countries from one perspective.
