Abstract

In order to remove the video image rotation caused by the thwart spin of the optic axis of the airborne photoelectric platform,a real-time image rotation-elimination method based on FPGA processing hardware is proposed.For each video frame,the rotation angle which is the current output of the INS of the airborne photoelectric platform is locked firstly.Then the video image is rotated reversely using the fast image rotation-elimination algorithm and the video image without rotation is obtained.The entire rotation elimination processing system is realized on a single FPGA chip,and it can remove rotation of any angle for the video image with a resolution of 1 024×1 024of the airborne photoelectric platform in real-time.It can achieve a processing frame frequency of 30frame/s with an accuracy of 0.1°and its maximum error is less than one pixel.
