Abstract

The Library at the Tokai University School of Medicine had a poor collection of audiovisual materials. The AV-room was therefore used by only a few people. This paper reports on the process of making an audiovisual catalog which uses a personal computer database software package. Our aim was to establish where audiovisual materials are kept in the hospital, to promote better use of audiovisual materials, and to build up the hardware. The catalog took fourteen months to complete.
