Abstract
SUMMARY Mycoplasma meleagridis was detected in Guatemalan turkeys by serologic and cultural procedures. This microorganism was differentiated and identified by a tube agglutination test with M. meleagridis and a slide agglutination test with M. gallisepticum antigen and staining of isolates obtained from cloacal samples of these birds with fluorescent M. meleagridis and M. gallisepticum antibody.
