Abstract

Objective To investigate the infection and drug resistance of Ureaplasma urealyticum (Uu) and Mycoplasma hominis (Mh) in female patients in Hangzhou, and to find its relationship with the cleanliness of genital tract secretions. Methods The clinical data of gynecological outpatients who underwent regular examination of leucorrhea and Mycoplasma culture in Hangzhou Maternity Hospital from January 2017 to April 2018 were collected. The Mycoplasma infection and drug resistance were retrospectively analyzed. Results Among the 1 093 patients, the infection rate of Mycoplasma was 49.41% (540 cases) . Single infection of Uu accounted for 71.48% (386 cases) , mixed infection of Uu and Mh accounted for 20.74% (112 cases) , and single infection of Mh accounted for 7.78%. The Mycoplasma infection rates were all above 45% in groups aged ≥20 years old, and in the group aged < 20 years old was 38.10%. And the infection rates were 32.44%, 67.95% and 96.67%, respectively in patients with vaginal secretion classification in Ⅱ, Ⅲ and Ⅳ. Seventeen cases (56.67%) were mixed infected by Uu and Mh in 30 cases with vaginal secretion classification in Ⅳ. Drug susceptibility results showed that the sensitivity rates of 540 Mycoplasma strains were fairly high to josamycin, doxycycline, minocycline and tetracycline (≥92.86%) , while were quite low to quinolone antibiotics (≤26.68%) . The resistance rates of the strains to erythromycin, azithromycin, clarithromycin and roxithromycin in Mh and Uu+Mh infection were all significantly higher than those in Uu infection. Conclusions In recent years, Uu is the predominant pathogen of Mycoplasma and the infection is related with cleanliness of genital tract secretions. Antibiotics such as josamycin, doxycycline and minocycline are recommended for clinical treatment. Key words: Mycoplasma Infections; Ureaplasma urealyticum; Mycoplasma hominis; Drug resistance
