Abstract
We fused concanavalin A-stimulated spleen lymphocytes of C57BL/6N mice with the AKR T-cell lymphoma BW-5147 G1.4. Four hybridomas expressing both Thy-1.1 and Thy-1.2 surface antigen markers characteristic of both parent types were evaluated for the production of various lymphokines. The resulting T-cell hybridoma constitutively produced a lymphokine that activated murine macrophages to the tumoricidal state without the concomitant production of migration inhibition factor, colony-stimulating factor, or interferon.
