Abstract

This presentation briefs on the school project “Mural message for future generations” initiated in a Romanian High School, aiming to improve school environment and advertise school image within community. The project objectives were to develop team work skills, conceive and transmit positive messages by using graphic art as support. The mural painted by eight High School student teams was the Multiple Intelligences theory experimental product applied in practice. Students using different types of intelligence worked so that their competences should be complementary. Thus the project supposed cross curricular reading of competences concerning communication, civic competences, artistic expression and project management.
