Abstract

A Walsh spectral signature detecting method applicable to multiple stuck-at faults in combinational networks is studied in this paper. The concepts of 'input redundant faults’ and 'weight increasing/decreasing faults’ are introduced. The detectability condition for spectra] coefficients is established. The 'fault mask’ relation is discussed. An multistep fault-collapsing method using a 'fault relation tree’ and the above concepts is then presented.
