Abstract

The vibrational resonance in the overdamped oscillator with the triple-well potential driven by a multiplicative low-frequency force and an additive high-frequency force is investigated by numerical simulation. The double VR and quasi-periodic oscillator are observed. There exists a resonant range, which is increased with the amplitude and frequency of the high-frequency force, but the response amplitude decreases as the high-frequency force becomes strong.
