Abstract

Polygala antillensis (Polygalaceae) is an endemic plant from La Martinique island that is classified critically endangered. The in vitro introduction of this genotype was performed with seeds and fresh nodes (explants). After desinfection, seeds explants generated in vitro plantlets and were multiplied in vitro either by classical micropropagation (on MS or WPM medium without growth regulator) or by adventive bud regeneration (on MS medium with TDZ at 0,3 mg/l). These results allow to consider the reintroduction of this species in protected areas.
