Abstract
A direct convolution method for multiple scattering correction in EELS up to triple scattering is developed and a straightforward formula for multiple scattering correction is reported. An experimental measurement of EELS on an evaporated amorphous carbon film is carried out and a multiple scattering correction to the spectrum is presented.
