Abstract
ABSTRACT A pore-level, three-dimensional network model is presented in this paper to calculate transverse dispersion and residual oil saturation at high capillary number floods in strongly wet media and many transport properties in mixed wet media. These transport properties are capillary pressure, relative permeability, and mixing parameters. A technique has been developed to generate well controlled mixed wettability in sandstones. Model predictions are compared with experimentally obtained values of transport coefficients. Our results illustrate the effect of wettability on transport properties of a rock.
