Abstract
No presente ensaio, os autores propoem uma analise a respeito da convivencia institucional entre o presidencialismo de coalizao e o multipartidarismo sob a egide da Constituicao de 1988. Propoe-se que a vivencia constitucional brasileira conformou incentivos institucionais que fomentaram uma fragmentacao da representacao partidaria no Congresso Nacional, o que, ao final, terminaram por alterar os padroes de interacao entre os poderes executivo e legislativo.Palavras-chave: multipartidarismo atomistico, presidencialismo de coalizao, semipresidencialismo, parlamentarismo.
