Abstract
In the era of the digital world, Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) is used to detect the physical environment behavior such as temperature, the speed of the wind, humidity, weather forecasting, military surveillance etc. WSNs are composed of thousands of numbers of a self-regulated small computational device known as Sensor Node. The primary objective of WSN is to detect and transmit data with the prolonged network life-cycle.Number of efficient topology protocol of WSN have been proposed in this field such as LEACH protocol for the selection of Cluster Heads (CHs) so that lifetime of WSN network topology can be increased. In this paper,we have proposed Multi-Objective Heterogeneous Clustering Approach (MOHC) for WSN under consideration of some factors like residual energy, connectivity, coverage and delay that maximize the lifetime of WSN by less Energy dissipation. The connectivity depends on the distance between CH to Base Station (BS) and coverage is the number of nodes within a threshold distance (d0) to their CH. Comparative analysis of factors shows that Implementation of fitness function used in this paper outperforms by reducing energy utilization relatively to prior proposed energy consumption model. Results show that the proposed model is more enhanced and efficient than the base algorithm and LEACH protocol. We have compared the number of dead nodes and residual energy of the proposed algorithm with the conventional algorithms.
