Abstract
The characteristics of a model calculation of multimuon production in deep-inelastic muon scattering is presented. In the model the muons are assumed to originate from the production and subsequent weak decay of a pair of hadrons that carry new quantum numbers and have a mass of approx.1.8 GeV. The results of the calculation are to be compared with the forthcoming experimental data, and could shed light on the properties of the new hadrons. (AIP)
