Abstract

Hyper IgE Syndrome (HIES) is an inherited immunodeficiency syndrome with an increased susceptibility to cutaneous fungal infections. While systemic antifungals are often the therapy of choice, many non-pharmacologic treatment options have been shown to improve clearance of these infections. We report the treatment course of cutaneous Fusarium Solani infection in an 8-year-old male with HIES with progression despite a series of systemic antifungals.
