Abstract
The objectives of this study are to determine if 1) oocyte maturation influences multidrug resistant (MDR) transporters and 2) MDR transport activity effects oocyte susceptibility to chemotherapy. MDR transporters are cell membrane proteins belonging to the ATP binding cassette (ABC) efflux transporter superfamily which may physiologically protect cells from toxins.
