Abstract

ABSTRACTHigher education institutions have a unique opportunity to provide clinical training to future counselors while simultaneously serving underserved communities. This article discusses the opportunities and challenges encountered through the development of a multidisciplinary community mental health clinic, which aimed to serve members of the local community through a variety of services, while providing an interprofessional preparation experience for future counselors.
