Abstract

Flow systems are very common in analysis, with low consumption of sample and reagents and great versatility, whether referring to detectors or to the flexibility of modules for carrying out pretreatment before the analytical signal is recorded. Despite the great potential of these systems, they are mostly used for simple determinations and do not exploit the possibility of carrying out multicomponent analysis in a single step. In this article, we present an overview of the various strategies used to make multicomponent determinations in flow systems, with particular focus on recently published papers.
