Abstract

For multi-beam antennas, the beam is guided in the desired direction by varying the phase difference of the antenna array. In this paper, the multi-beam outputted by the microstrip Rotman lens is fed into the 8×6 microstrip patch tapering array antenna. The lens is conceived with 7 beam ports, 8 array ports and 14 dummy ports which achieve a wideband with ±30 degree scan range. The simulation results show good VSWR and phase error performance.
