Abstract
in this paper, a multibeam network is designed and simulated in 28 GHz which consists a Rotman lens and a planar slot array antenna. The slot array antenna is implemented on Substrate Integrated Waveguide (SIW) and is fed by a microstrip Rotman lens. The planar slot array antenna and Rotman lens are connected to each other using a transition from microstrip to SIW. Five distinct beams are realized through the use of Rotman lens with gain of about 16 dBi. The efficiency of multibeam antenna fed by each of the five beam ports is in the range of 60% to 70% which is higher than that of presented in other works due to better design of dummy port configuration.
