Abstract

Life history is the result of ecological challenges imposed by the environment, it tries to explain how evolution designs organisms to achieve reproductive success (Stearns, 2000). So, it is closely related to the theme of climate change that is on the agenda of this special issue. In this article, effects of temperature and precipitation changes on phenotypic traits of lizards are reviewed. At the end, predictions of lizard life history changes are made based on current knowledge about Brazilian lizards and climate change models for Brazil.
