Abstract
Presents the MT27 conference chair introductions. MT27, THE 27th International Conference on Magnet Technology, took place at Fukuoka International Congress Center, Fukuoka, Japan and online from November 15 to 19, 2021. The conference was co-hosted by the Cryogenics and Superconductivity Society of Japan (CSSJ), the Science Council of Japan (SCJ), and The Institute of Electrical Engineers of Japan (IEEJ) and supported by the IEEE Council on Superconductivity (IEEE CSC). After careful consideration on the conference format under the influence of global impact of COVID-19, MT27 was in an interactive hybrid format to allow participants who were unable to attend the onsite from across the globe.
