Abstract
MT26, THE 26th International Conference on Magnet Technology, took place in the beautiful city of Vancouver in Canada, at the Hyatt Regency Hotel, from September 22 to 27, 2019. The conference was supported by the IEEE Council on Superconductivity and hosted by TRIUMF. The scope of MT26 included magnet technology ranging from large scale magnets for high field facilities, particle accelerators, plasma fusion and medical magnets for MRI and radiation therapy, to coil systems for energy applications like fault current limiters, transformers, motors and generators. In addition, all design tools, technologies, components, superconductors and materials related to the construction of magnets were covered.
