Abstract
The article presents changes in prosody of hero image creation in Vietnamese historical novels after the Doi moi period. In which, the change of the artistic conception of human and artistic point of view is the most important condition to help writers create multi-faceted hero characters. There, the personality of the hero is set by the novelists in specific contexts to explain from many aspects with a dialectical view instead of the “defaults” of history itself. Characters are reflected on many different aspects of real life. They appear lively as contemporary people in all its inherent complexity.
