Abstract
Intravesical immunotherapy of non-muscle invasive bladder cancer of bladder is performed predominant with BCG, a substance which induces an acute inflammatory response in the bladder wall. The authors present their experience concerning the intravesical instillation of BCG in the treatment of non-muscle invasive bladder cancer, emphasizing the most frequent encountered side effects and complications of this method.
