Abstract
This article summarises the rationale for providing a conference workstream delivered jointly by leads, educators and clinicians of the Division of Neuropsychology (DoN) and of the Faculty of Psychology for Older People (FPOP). The aim of the workstream was to address a long-expressed hunger on the part of qualified FPOP clinicians to enhance their formal training in neuropsychology to apply them to their clinical practice. The second part of the workstream gave a platform to practicing Clinical Psychologists who have undergone additional post-doctoral neuropsychology training, to present the diverse and varied ways in which this additional framework enables them to deliver not just neuropsychological assessments and rehabilitation, but to more broadly guide neuropsychologically-informed clinical services.
