Abstract

A STUDY of a group of highly fertile women* indi cated that the majority were in favour of birth control and expressed small family size preferences, but that they had also tended to adopt a fata listic approach to having children. The purpose of this paper is to examine their responses to questions con cerning information about birth control against this background, in the hope that health educators will find the results useful in planning relevant education pro grammes.
