Abstract
A total of 49 specimens of the majoid spider crab, Pleistacantha kannu Ng, Ravinesh & Ravichandran 2017, were collected along the southeast coast of India in 2017–2018. The carapace length of the collected specimens ranged from 40 to 150 mm while the maximum carapace width was 138 mm. This report discusses sexual dimorphism of this species of deep-sea large spiny spider crab.
