Abstract

Investigations of rubbers combined with oligoester acrylates (OEA) have shown the heterogeneous nature of these systems. The sizes of OEA inclusions in the rubber-oligomer mixtures were determined before and after vulcanization by optical microscopy methods. It was found that the morphology and mechanical properties of the vulcanizates depend, in the case of the studied oligomer, on its compatibility with the rubbers and on the conditions of prior treatment of the initial mixtures.
