Abstract

An electron microscope study was made of a natural epizootic caused by granulosis virus in three consecutive generations of larvae of the fruit-tree leaf roller, Archips argyrospila. Differences in cytopathology were observed which may represent differences in phenotypic expression in the host insect, or the presence of different strains of virus, or different viruses.
