Abstract
Scanning electron micrographs elucidated the anatomical relationships of specialized male genitalia to spermatophore production, morphology and dimensions of spermatophores, surface structures of eggs, and morphology of the female genitalia of Leptotrombidium fletcheri. Paired spermathecae were also demonstrated for the first time in trombiculid mites.
