Abstract

This article examines the importance of the ability of New Zealand library and information management professionals to meet the needs of Māori clients and provides information about the three providers of library and information related education. The article outlines the content and purposes of a course designed to ensure that students are familiar with services and resources required to ensure that the needs of Māori clients are met.
