Abstract
The Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh, is launching a new course this month designed to increase the number of teachers in Scotland holding honours qualifications in physics. It is a combination of full time and part time study similar to courses for mathematics teachers which have been run successfully at Heriot-Watt and Strathclyde Universities.
