Abstract

Two novel dinuclear complexes of Ru(II) and Os(II) with a bis-chelating bridging ligand based on 3,5-bis(2-pyridyl)-1,2,4-triazole moieties have been synthesized, and their absorption spectra, electrochemical behavior, and luminescence properties have been studied. For comparison purposes, the parent mono-chelating ligand and its mononuclear complexes have also been synthesized and their properties have been studied.
