Abstract

A comparative analysis of the product range, service life and prevalence of various parts of mining and metallurgical equipment has been carried out. Based on information and regional monitoring, a list of the most common precision parts of mining and metallurgical equipment has been determined. The frequency of failure of their replacement parts has been revealed. It is shown that despite the fact that the parts are made of high-quality alloy steels, their service life is very limited. Modern trends in improving the properties of materials have been established. Increasing the service life of parts by applying modern trends in material improvement will reduce the number of downtime and increase the productivity of precision castings
