Abstract
While the Great Commission was not predicated on money, the lack of finances has been an obstacle to mission participation for many Global South Christians. This article examines the challenges that money poses for Global South mission, proposes that the use of “mission funding models” can clarify the issues of mission funding decisions, challenges the prevailing understanding of mission, and charts a way forward to increase mission participation for those who are financially disadvantaged.
