AbstractThe aim of the article is to study the prefixation instra- in the texts of Franco-Italian literature. Starting from the attestation of the wordstracoruzain thechanson de geste Huon d’Auvergne, the analysis will consider other similar derivatives, in order to study the interesting phenomenon ofcode-mixing. The conclusions underline, once again, the lexical and morphological vitality of the French-Italian authors and their works.
