Abstract

We analyze the colonial moment that the Viceroyalty of Peru had using the qualitative approach and the constructivist critical paradigm. The 18th century is a time of political definitions in Europe, despite the fact that Spain was involved in worldwide war conflicts, especially with England. The Bourbons had better administration and as a result a better economy to the detriment of the native communities where the colonies were located.
