Abstract
In this paper, a method of moments (MoM) based multilevel adaptive cross approximation (MLACA) algorithm is proposed to accelerate the calculation of impedance changes for eddy current problems. The MLACA uses the butterfly algorithm and ACA algorithm to approximate the well-separated blocks in the impedance matrix. Numerical results show both the efficiency and robustness of the proposed method.
