Abstract
Analytical expressions have been derived for average MW, polydispersity coefficients and parameters of composition heterogeneity of multicomponent copolymers, and these values have been related to the MWD of their components. Relationships have been found between number and weight distribution functions for a copolymer according to MW and weight composition and corresponding distribution functions according to degrees of polymerization and molar compositions. For the case where MWDs of all the components of a copolymer are mutually independent and are described by a Schultz-Zimm function, the multidimensional composition distribution function has been calculated for the copolymer.
