Abstract

Roth, H. and Lucas, K., 1992. Molecular thermodynamics on the basis of an equation of state for argon. Part IV. Systems of non-linear molecules. Fluid Phase Equilibria, 73: 225-241. A molecular perturbation theory based on an equation of state for pure argon is extended to non-linear molecules using the SSR-MPA potential model. With three potential parameters fitted to the pure fluid vapor-pressure curve and combination rules based on universal quantum chemical concepts it turns out to be possible to predict the phase equilibria of various systems containing non-linear molecules.
