Abstract

Ultrasonic velocity, density, and viscosity measurements for o-APUF (o-aminophenol, urea and formaldehyde) terpolymer in DMSO were collected throughout a concentration range of (0.5 to 3.0) mol.Kg-1. From viscosity, velocity, and density measurements, derived metrics such as adiabatic compressibility (s), free length (Lf), Relative Association (RA), and Acoustic Impedance (Z) were determined. The knowledge concerning solute-solvent interactions comes from the fluctuations of these properties with concentration.
