Background and Aims: LDL cholesterol (LDL-C) plasma levels are closely related to the development of coronary artery disease (CAD) and represent one of the main cardiovascular causative factors. The aim of this study was to assess the association of lifetime exposure to both high and low LDL-C genetic risk scores.
