Abstract
Information content and information capacity of chromatograms are investigated using the mole fraction information as defined in previous communications. The terminus chromatographic information is introduced in a way that enables the calculation of the total separation work supplied to the mixture. The amount of information is a measure of the effectivity of chromatographs and chromatographic methods under different conditions.
