Abstract
Modularization is an effective way to manage a complex system. Modular production network has unique information features and operation mechanisms. Personal information encapsulation enhances the innovation activities of modular system while system information assimilation ensures the compatibility between modules. These do not only provide a variety of innovative options for the future, but also make self-evolution possible without concentration beforehand. Self-organization is a feature of modular production network. Strategic emerging industries in China need a new industrial organization which has quick response to the market. With modular production networks strong competitive advantages, strategic emerging industries in China can be further optimized and upgraded by making full use of it.
